Alternative Soul Musician and Performing Artist
SharmonJarmon! is an American Alternative Soul singer known for her creativity and courage. She blends Chicago soul, house, and rock music into a captivating sound. Having faced anxiety and depression from a young age, she channels her experiences into a message of hope and resilience, advocating for mental health awareness.
Through her work in entertainment, she has already made history in South Africa as the FIRST International act to perform burlesque in the Baby Grand Festival 2023 Debutante Ball. She has been awarded by her city of Chicago as a Legacy league pillar for her community work with True Star Foundation. She now plans to attend her artistic work into deeper research through art and documentary films.

BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT
"In Our Mother's Garden" is a 2021 documentary film by Shantrelle P. Lewis that explores the experiences and wisdom of Black women, focusing on their relationships with their mothers and the legacy of Black maternal ancestors. The film highlights self-care, healing, and the strength of Black families.
Some of the biggest accomplishments from this film was seeing it premiere at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago 2024
